Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Spring half term 2025 holidays has increased by 60% compared to Spring half term 2024. Between Saturday 15 Feb 2025 and Sunday 23 Feb 2025 you used 2,700 kWh at a cost of £400. This is an increase of 1,000 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 160 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 20 kW in the winter to 4.8 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £3,200 annually.
