Reminders

Your gas meter for the Devon Block is currently not capable of providing data to Energy Sparks. We recommend that you speak to your supplier to get this meter upgraded to AMR. The gas meter for the Boarding House was upgraded to AMR on 13 March 2024. We are only showing data for this meter from March 2024. Electricity data for meter 2000026730237 often lags because of delays in the data being provided by the meter operator. The data is currently on Energy Sparks up to 08 August 2024. Therefore, please note that more recent electricity data is for the school's main electricity meter only.

Review progress

Well done, you are making progress towards achieving your target to reduce your gas usage!

Review progress

Gas use in the Autumn half term 2024 holidays has increased by 75% compared to Autumn half term 2023.

Between Thursday 24 Oct 2024 and Sunday 3 Nov 2024 you used 7,400 kWh of gas at a cost of £220. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 3,200 kWh and 580 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 18 kW in the winter to 6.3 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £14,000 annually.
