Reminders

Please note that your school uses a biomass boiler and we are unable to display this energy usage on Energy Sparks. We are displaying the data for the school's two gas meters. The gas is a back-up if the biomass boiler isn't working or is running low on pellets. The school switches off the biomass boiler at the end of April and the school uses the mains gas supply to heat the school's hot water during the warmer months as it is more efficient than using the biomass boiler. Please note that your gas data has stopped for the Sixth Form gas meter on 31/08/24 and we are working with your supplier to restore access to the data.

Between Saturday 15 Feb 2025 and Sunday 23 Feb 2025 you used 18,000 kWh of gas at a cost of £920. Adjusting for changes in outside temperature, this is still an increase of 2,200 kWh and 400 kg CO2. Ask the school site manager to check the heating controls to reduce gas use during the school holidays.
