Bad News!  Your school's electricity use in the Autumn half term 2024 holidays has increased by 29% compared to Autumn half term 2023. Between Friday 25 Oct 2024 and Sunday 3 Nov 2024 you used 5,400 kWh at a cost of £810. This is an increase of 1,200 kWh compared to the same period in the holidays last year and released an extra 210 kg CO2.

There is a large variation in seasonal overnight electricity usage from 33 kW in the winter to 18 kW in the summer. This suggests electric heating is left running overnight during the winter or the school has inefficient security or flood lights. Change electric heater settings and improve lighting efficiency to save £5,000 annually.
