We realised that the CO2 monitors issued by the Government also record the temperature in the classrooms. Teachers and Climate Cops in each classroom have been encouraged to check these regularly and ensure that their classrooms are not too hot. If they are regularly too warm they have been asked to adjust the thermostat if they have one, or to let the caretaker know if not.
Activity description
When classrooms are too warm not only can it affect learning but it wastes money and creates unnecessary climate warming emissions.
Keep an eye on how warm your classrooms are by completing this quick activity.
