Label lights and appliances to show which should be left on or turned off

What you did

All the KS2 Carbon Crushers labelled their classroom and corridor lights with green thumbs up stickers if they can be turned off by pupils.
We labelled electrical sockets with green to be switched off by pupils, amber if you have to ask an adult and red to not be ever switched off.

Activity description

Pupils will identify all IT equipment, appliances and lighting throughout the school and indicate which can be turned off using a traffic light coding system.
