We have been wanting to replace our lighting with LED lights for some time now but due to the cost of this, we have only replaced a light with an LED one when a bulb has blown. However due to securing a grant to help with the cost of replacing the lighting, the school were able to replace all remaining lights across the school, inside and out with LED bulbs during the Summer holidays. Not only are the lights much more energy efficient but they are also much brighter so we are finding we need fewer on in the classrooms and the hall which is reducing energy use further. Win win!!
