Eco team brought in the eco award for every week , this is awarded for classes, leaving lights and equipment off when not in use, using natural lights sources and so forth … The winning class is awarded a certificate that they display on their classroom doors, and some treats. Each class is always trying to outdo each other and looking after the Earth at the same time.
Activity description
A whole school competition can really raise awareness of your energy efficiency efforts and encourage pupils to get involved at school and also at home. Allocate each class 100 points at the start of the competition. Monitor lights daily and if lights in their particular zone or classroom are left on then points are deducted from their score.
