Discussed the questions compared the example data to our data. We also noticed; in May the solar panels produced the most electricity. However, it was clear there was more brightness of sunshine W/m2 in 2023 compared with 2024.
Activity description
Many schools have photovoltaic panels which produce energy from sunlight. These panels reduce the school's electricity consumption from the National Electricity Grid and reduce the school's carbon emissions, as electricity produced from solar panels produces very little carbon. Solar panels also save schools money.
