James from Energy Sparks delivered an assembly for 2A, 3A and 4C on climate change, polar explorers and travels to Antarctica.
The students enjoyed learning about renewable energy and sustainability to combat the effects of climate change.
Our students had the chance to question James about Robert Swan’s inspiring trips to the north and south poles and his company 2041. Which aims to preserve and protect Antarctica and the planet from climate change.
Activity description
The schools that have the most success is cutting their energy use and reducing their carbon emissions are the ones where everybody knows about your energy goals.
There are lots of ways of spreading the word about Energy Sparks (see here for talking to the different groups of adults in your school) but to get pupils talking about tackling energy waste, the best way is always with an assembly.
