One student reported how they use their smart meter at home to regulate their power usage. The image attached shows how expensive their family's energy consumption was whilst the shower was on 'super hot', the oven was preheating, the kettle was on and the hot water tank was heating. This led to the student understanding the importance of short showers, efficiency in kettle use and hot water for dishes, as well as to use time wisely with the oven being on.
